On Life:
Sinuses seem to be infected yet again.  This is the third time since the year began!  Will have to consult ye olde medical practitioner, and ask to be put on a longer/stronger set of meds to clear it up. 

On Puppies:
They're addicted to the sofa.  If I don't go sit on the sofa with them (which they discovered -- first --  because I was playing old PS2 games, and then because I did a marathon viewing of all of Stargate Atlantis), they will whine at me.  If I continue to ignore them, they will start to paw at me.  They don't want out or water or food or playtime:  they want access to the sofa, and they want me to sit there with them. (It's not good enough to sit there by themselves.) As soon as the gate is open they bolt through the doorway.  Biggles jumps up on the sofa, and Zoe runs back and forth in front of it until I put her on it, too.  Then they promptly go to sleep for the next three hours.  My job is to stay there with them and not move. 

Also, I have amusing footage of them eating marshmallows, and more of them running around in post-bathtime excitement.  Hoping to use the hubby's computer to edit it into something fun to watch, which I can then share.

On Writing:
Working on the phone sex follow-up fic.  However, I've decided to make some edits/rewrites to the first part.  While it fit the prompt, the prompt itself didn't really fit my view of Cloud/Tifa.  I have trouble thinking he'd avoid talking to her on the phone, especially since he talks to pretty much everyone (except Yuffie??) during the FFVII flashback featurette.  So I'm in the process of editing, and I hope to post the reworked version today or tomorrow.  (Basically, I have to change Tifa's motivation for leaving the message from 'trying to get him to answer his phone' to 'trying to get him to jump her bones'.) Hopefully the follow-on fic will then be easier to finish and will make an appearance over the weekend (sinuses permitting).

On Friends:
I've been soooo bad about keeping up with my f-list this week, but will try to get caught up soon.  It's hard when the puppies won't let me stay in my office!

Your puppies sound like my dogs. Whenever one is on the couch (which all are the size of a human being themselves, huge ass things! <3), they act annoyed. Like, "What are you doing sitting on *my* couch?" It's dangerous territory. Spoiled things.

Oooooh I was wondering about that follow up to the phone sex bit. I really enjoyed that. I see what you're saying though. Of all people I think Cloud would return Tifa's calls. So I agree with you, it's easier to picture Teef trying to think of a way to get him all hot and bothered and ready to tackle her to the ground. I'm excited to read the edited version and the response! ;)

& yucccccccccck, sinus problems. Trust me, I'm an allergy-free person, but the sinus world has raped me time and time again. Already 2 times within the past 2 months. Bleh.

So glad to see an entry from you. I was concerned that you're not well.
This year is terrible, health wise, for me too. I'm down with a cold currently, and this is the second time this year! I haven't been sick in five years until now.

On life:

That's the second person on my flist who's reported sinus hell in the last 2 days, and I just had to go back on antibiotics for a new sinus infection a month and a half after having major sinus surgery that was supposed to banish them forever.

Something is going on. :P

I doubt there's a Chinese medicine practitioner where you live. You could try herbal medicine instead. (Even if it means your nose and tongue wanting to commit suicide)
