Starting new prompt community

I have a horrible feeling nothing will come of this, but I'm hoping that's just because it's Wednesday (and Wednesdays are unkind to me).

However... I have started a new prompt community for FFVII het fanfiction.  I really like the idea of posting a fanfic request/idea and having someone else respond.  I really like responding.  Unfortunately, the communities I found seem to have an over-abundance of YAOI/YURI prompts, and anything I could actually write or respond to is few and far between.

So... the new community is:  ffvii_het_meme.  Hopefully it'll be fairly easy to navigate, and will generate lots of prompts and responses!

Ooh, sounds fun! I might request something. :D I might be able to respond to a request when I'm not quite so occupied with trying to come up with forty more one-shots for the fanfic50 community.

You're doing far better on your fanfic50 than I am... I've done a total of 8 out of my 92 prompts (across three different communities). And yet I feel an odd need for more.

I think it's because a lot of the prompts are being mum, but then I get more detail from a Cloud/Tifa prompt and that helps me make headway. (Sort of... "OH, that idea fits this prompt, too!")

Pfft, you're still writing them at a quick pace. I started with 100 prompts, because I signed up for my Vaan/Penelo table last August, and I still have four more to write. Which I guess isn't too bad--out of 100 prompts total, I have 44 left.

I know what you mean about prompt being mum and getting more ideas from further detailed prompts. Does this mean I could potentially respond to a prompt on your community and use it for my fanfic50 prompt? Or did you want these to be entirely separate from any other projects?

Though knowing me, I'd probably want to use the prompts on your community as a challenge by themselves.

Still, I'm especially excited about the idea of making a request. ^_^

I am still trying to decide on this myself. I have a 30_lemons prompt that fits the motorcycle sex prompt I signed up for on springkink. I also have a first date prompt that fits the fic I'm currently writing. I have yet to decide whether to combine them or not. It will probably depend on if I manage to get multiple ideas before I start writing. I actually have a second date idea, so I'll probably write two fics for that, but may combine the two motorcycle prompts into one.

So I guess it's up to you =)

However, there's nothing that says multiple people can't respond to the same prompt. So if you write something that fits, intentionally or not, go ahead and link us! =)
