I'm skeptical that the average human being uses its brain to make decisions.

I'm skeptical that any of the Republican presidential nominees know what Christianity actually is.

I'm skeptical that anyone who interprets the Bible as censuring homosexuality has ever read the rest of the Good Book.  I'm especially skeptical that they take the rest of the prohibitions -- explicitly stated, no spin required -- as seriously as the one that lets them freely hate other people.

I'm skeptical that organized religion is a good thing.

I'm skeptical that aspartame has no unhealthy side effects.

Finally, I'm skeptical that I'll finish cleaning house before my best friend arrives.

Color me impressed. I don't often come across Christians with intelligent, well thought out opinions. I'm not intending that as offensive so I hope it doesn't come across that way. I am genuinely surprised though.

The Republican nominees, in terms of religion... I'd urge you to check out Ron Paul, perhaps. I say that because, while he holds Christian beliefs, he does not wish to legislate morality.

And I'm with you on the aspartame thing. I steer clear of it. Actually, I try to stay away from ingesting anything with chemicals, genetic modification, hormones, antibiotics, etc. Basically, anything that isn't REAL food.

Have a nice day! Hope you get your house clean. :)

LOL. Thank you for the compliment, but I'm afraid I'm an atheist. =) Many of us seem to know more about the tenets of Christianity than the most vocal followers. I think the Republican nominees are excellent poster children for how to make their savior cringe in shame (if he exists).

Hope you have a nice day as well!

Ha! Well I guess the status quo hasn't been altered after all. I'm an atheist as well and I'd have to agree on the majority of the Republican nominees. The same can often be said about Democrats as well though. :)
