The 2 Most Important ACC additions/spoilers (IMO)

There is quite a lot of great new footage (which I'll get to later if anyone is interested), but there are two scenes that I personally think are the most important.

One, I think is important 'cause I ship Cloud/Tifa.  (So I freely admit I'm biased in choosing it.) There is a newly added scene where Cloud rescues not only Denzel, but Tifa as well.  You've probably seen parts in the various trailers.  It's essentially a bunch of images in sequence, and it goes something like this:

• Denzel surrounded by shadow creepers
• Tifa in the air, being attacked by Bahamut SIN
• Tifa is knocked out of the air and lands on the ground, hard
• Shadow creepers close in on Denzel in slow-motion
• Flashback to Zack from his last stand at end of Crisis Core
• Tifa on the ground, obviously dazed, looking toward Denzel.  In the background, a building is falling toward her as a result of the energy blast she was dodging when she fell.
• Aerith, facing the camera, praying as Sephiroth attacks her
• Close up of Cloud's eyes (as in trailer), face tightening with determination.
• Cloud then draws his sword and throws it, taking out the shadow creepers attacking Denzel.  Fenrir is still moving forward, and Cloud catches his sword and continues his charge to destroy the building falling on Tifa.  As he passes, she swings up behind him, and he says something about being late (which she denies).

I guess the general idea is that he's not going to be too late to save people this time.

The second is a scene with Zack that has some of the same feel as the one with Aerith in the flower field.  In the new Sephiroth fight scene, Cloud is never pinned to a wall while Seph taunts him.  Instead, you get the scene from the trailer(s) where he stabs Cloud (much as in Nibelheim), holds him in the air, taunts him, sprouts a wing, and then tosses Cloud into the air to chase after him and slash him repeatedly.  Cloud falls to the ground, bleeding profusely.  As he struggles to stand, he sees the same images as in the original AC, but then everything but the ground flashes white (as in the flower field) and Zack is standing behind him.  Zack tells him not to give up, and that it's what's in his heart that counts, not whether or not he made SOLDIER.  He asks if Cloud needs help, and Cloud shakes his head.  Then he tells Cloud that he's already beaten Seph once, this should be easy.  He reminds Cloud of their exchange at the end of Crisis Core; Cloud replies that he is the proof of Zack's existence (i.e. his living legacy).  Cloud then proceeds to kick Seph's butt.

It's a fabulous scene, and a great companion/parallel to the one with Aerith.  Down to the fact that Cloud and Zack stand back to back and never face each other.

The Zack scene is my new favorite, actually. Cloud's face is so very emotive, and I just really really want to know what Zack is saying to him.

Not that the scene where he rescues Tifa isn't great, too (Cloud being protective of Tifa, what's not to love?), just that the Zack scene is far more touching.

During the rescue scene, there's actually a flashback to Zack aswell before the shot of the building falling on Tifa, then the shot of Sephiroth in the air on his way down to you know what. ;D
