I'm so so so so glad that Mandy Moore can actually sing, and has a range that consists of more than the same three notes. 

Vocal range and the ability to carry a tune for the win!

*nods* And the way she performs in Tangled, she sounds like such a Disney princess, if you know what I mean. Have you heard the duet from Tangled? It's BEAUTIFUL; I was listening to it all day yesterday.

I'm excited about Zachary Levi doing the voiced of Flynn, too. I've watched him for years as the star of "Chuck", and it's really cool to hear him in cartoon form.

That's the song I was listening to that prompted the comment! (Well, that, followed by Emily Osment's cover of 'Once Upon a Dream' which is just HORRIBLE. The contrast between the two singers in ability was like a slap in the face. ^^;)

Have you heard her cover of Rihanna's 'Umbrella'? It's like a completely different song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMB6YOWzQMY). I never cared for the original, but the cover is great.

I liked Levi in the clips from Tangled, but I've never watched chuck. At first I thought it was Jake Gyllenhaal doing Flynn's voice (it sounds and even looks a bit like him) and I had to go look it up. =)

Mandy Moore does an incredible job. Actually, there were moments where she very much reminded me of Amy Adams and her role in Enchanted. I do have to say, though, as far as the music goes, I felt that Donna Murphy singing Mother Gothel stole the show. Her voice, as always, is stunning and as a villainess, she's incredible.

How good is it?

I'll watch it at some point because Zachary Levi voices it, but i doubt it will be in the cinema unless i get many many good recommendations.
