Amusing (to me, anyway) fact...

Despite all the criticism romance novels receive, none of the recipients of the Bad Sex in Fiction award have been romance authors.  In addition, since the award's inception in 1993, it has only gone to a female author twice.

John Updike got a Lifetime Achievement award for it in 2008.

LOL, it's hilarious! People are always rounding women writers into a category that if it's a woman, and it's romance, there's sex, and it sucks. Squeeze me? Check yourself. Men are just as crappy at things women do too.
