That line about Cloud trying to look sexy while being dressed as a woman had me in fits.

I like that Aerith and Tifa are friends, because they were. I doubt Tifa would bother wearing the ribbon of her mortal enemy on her arm long after said enemy's death.

Very sweet. Did you have your fic "Variety" and "Pent Up" in mind when Aerith speculated that Cloud was a pirate is previous life, and when she asked about the cell?

If only the ending were the four lovers and friends reuniting in the end :(.

I completely agree with the anon review on the fic--it's a joy to have a story where Aerith and Tifa are friends, where Aerith isn't portrayed at her most annoying or made stupidly petty. Instead we have Aerith's quiet spiritual confidence and Tifa's hidden uncertainty, and it's easy to see how they would get along. The interaction between them was a pleasure to read. =)

Now that you've prompted us to think about it, it seems that I have always thought of Cloud as an Old Soul. When he can drop all his baggage. And there's a heap of it. But the essential Cloud was never overtaken by the insanity that he lived through, though it got dicey at times. That must have been why Avalanche stuck with him through it all--they felt it too. Zack's steadiness--yeah, he truly was a hero and gave Cloud an anchor. Thx for this. mc

I'm so sorry that it's taken me so long to come over and comment. First of all, a big heartfelt thank you, because this prompt is mine.:) I'm happy with how it turned out and with the fact that Tifa and Aerith are good friends. I also don't believe that they were enemies and that Aerith was evil.

Your explanation for Cloud's feelings when concerning her was also something I believe, but it's obvious that Aerith has always loved Zack, though there may have been some attraction towards Cloud. Also, it's sweet how you integrated how Tifa feels that her heart recognizes him. Seriously, I can keep gushing, but I don't think you'd want to read all that. You did wonderfully with this, and again thank you!
