I can totally see your point here that Cloud is willing/ready to take it easy with Tifa. He has waited a long time but he has also proven that he is committed to doing things right. (Also explains the hours of practice.) I think it is very Cloud-esque that he hasn’t rushed into anything and has no intentions of it. Was highly amused by how she struck him dumb, btw But yeah, I think you were dead on for waiting for them to jump into bed with each other to do more than any heavy petting the first night they finally connection the dots. (Or, Cloud connections the dots.) Because while Tifa knows Cloud through his mother and likes very much what she has seen of him so far, I think a little extra exposure to Cloud isn’t going to hurt her at all.
