Fandoms new and old...

The ridiculous heat (and sad lack of whole house AC) is playing havoc with my ability to write... but since my last post was all:  "Grrrrr! Arrrgg!  Wail!!~" I thought I'd post something to say life is better.

So... first up, I'm so so so happy the new season of Eureka is in progress!  I do wish the writers would quit yanking Jack around with respect to Allison, and I'm not real keen on the premise for the underlying season arc (they've done the time-travel-rewrote-history thing before)... but it's still fun to watch, and I just love the characters.  Especially Jack.  So it's nice to see new episodes.

And... I've got a new fandom (possibly two, but at present, one).  Kept seeing ads for Haven while watching Eureka on the DVR, so finally sat down and watched the first episode... and then quickly watched the rest of them in rapid succession.  I like it.  I like Audrey (I especially like that her name is something different) and I like Nathan.  I'm already 'shipping' them, and there have only been five episodes!  As for the other 'possible' new fandom, I'm going to have to watch some Warehouse 13 and see what I think of it (thanks to the recent Eureka/Warehouse 13 crossover ep).

Also caught up on this season of The Closer, and watched last season's House finale... just in time to be ready for the new season.  

Basically, the heat has turned me into a couch potato...

Oh, and I've rewatched almost all of Kenshin.  Sadly, the story I want to write is just not coming.  =(
