Reality check...
Jul. 28th, 2010 05:24 pmI'm just checking, because it's been a long, long time since I was a teenage girl (and I thought many of the ones in my graduating class were rather melodramatic about boys) ...
BUT:
Teenage girls do still act like the world is ending when they break up with their boyfriends, right? They do the whole 'He was the love of my life and it's over what will I do' sob act... right? (And then a few weeks later go on to date someone else, who is also the love of her life...)
'Cause they darn well did back in 1989. (And in '86, '87, and '88... not to mention '90, '91, '92, and '93 in college.)
BUT:
