Fanfic -- "Reunion"

Title:  Reunion
Fandom:  FFVII
Characters:  Cloud/Tifa, but mentions of most of the cast
Summary:  AU (very) and a bit weird.  Takes place at the end of AC/ACC, and goes off on a wild tangent while Cloud is floating in the white space.
Notes:  Seriously, this is a bit weird.  It also (frustratingly) doesn't seem like it goes anywhere or accomplishes anything, despite being almost 3500 words long.

What's new in Appliance Town

Wow, I actually went more than 24 hours without posting anything.  O.o

Things got busy here, and I've been slow responding to comments, for which I apologize.  I think I've caught up now, but if I missed you, I am terribly terribly sorry.

I've been trying to find a Mom's Day gift for my mother.  I didn't expect it to be this hard, especially since I managed to get her to tell me something she wanted.  Finding it, however, has proven difficult.  I finally ordered two things today.  Hopefully at least one will arrive in time (not just for the day itself, but because she needs it for an event on Monday), and will be what she wanted.

Hubby and I are going to see the new Star Trek movie tomorrow.  I am both excited and skeptical.  I know they're "rebooting" the fandom (albeit not to the extent of BSG, for example) and I'm worried it won't work for me.  (I don't wear costumes or attend conventions, but I'm good enough on my ST:TOS to be able to name episodes and describe plots, and I've read a ton of the novels... so, yeah.)  TOS will always be my Trek, so I don't want to see it... mucked up.  Anyway, it's still very very cool that we're seeing it tomorrow (Thursday).  At 9 AM.  O.o  I joked that I wouldn't be awake enough to enjoy it yet!  It's a Microsoft event (hubby works for them) and we got free tickets, and get to see it a day early.  (Woot!  Hurrah for the evil empire! ^.^)
