I acknowledge my own stupidity...

That thing in RK fics where "koishi" is used as an endearment?  I'm to blame for it.  (Sorry.)  And it's kind of flattering and amusing to find it used all over the place now, particularly by authors who have no idea why they're using it.

But it annoys me when I read it coming out of Tomoe's mouth, or from Kenshin to Tomoe.  How's that for stupid?
