Although Cloud can pretty much turn anyone he wants to into a smear, he's shorter than the rest of the men in their group. Cid is 5'10, Vincent is 6'2, Zack (his best friend, sadly deceased) is 6'3, and Barret is 6'5. (O.O)
At least, according to the final fantasy wiki. No height given for Reeve, but in DoC he looks pretty tall. Vincent doesn't tower over him or anything.
And I'm 5'7, so his 5'8 doesn't seem like much. My best friend is 5'9 (and female).
