I sort of unilaterally just decided that Tifa could dance. (oops) BUT, she was the most popular girl in town, and her dad was the mayor and most influential guy in town. So it seems plausible. (I'm going with it anyway. ^.~)

The only older woman I can think of (in canon) is Aerith's mom. He's a bit hesitant with her, but the first time it's 'cause she's telling him (basically, although she's more polite), to leave her daughter alone; the second time her daughter has been kidnapped; and the third her daughter is dead. Not really a lot to build a happy relationship on.
