This was fun! I think that Cloud *would* pick up the steps very quickly, regardless of mimicry ability. The thing about dancing is the footwork and he already has to have good feet to do his sword work. I think that anyone with martial arts training finds these things a little easier than those of us who are just athletic. (My poor feet ignore all intentions I have of learning anything.) I think the mimcry ability works pretty well in this as well. Plus, it’s important to him. You can’t tell me Cloud doesn’t have focus when things are important to him.
I am assuming that Tifa has a pretty broad ability with dancing as well, so I like that Cloud learned for her. A lot.
I think most people have a weakness for older woman if they have one for kids/small animals. But even if he isn’t comfortable with people and it’s not quite in character, how many older women do you see him within the cannon stuff? I think you did fine with this.
