The first book for Betsy is really, really brilliant. J.D. gave it to me for a birthday present a few years ago. =) My last birthday book was The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. If you haven't read that one yet, you should.
I actually picked up the first twilight book right after it first came out. My baby sister had read it and loved it, so I tried to read it. (This was way before it was super popular.) I just couldn't get into it.
